The Jefferson Democrats will head out to square off against the Elizabeth Bulldogs at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Jefferson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.5 goals per game this season.

Jefferson is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Santee on Wednesday. The Democrats fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 2-1.

Jefferson's goal came courtesy of Nestor Ramirez, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth won against Rise Kohyang on Thursday with three goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Monday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 3-1 win over West Adams. That's two games straight that Elizabeth have won by exactly two goals.

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 3-2-1. As for Elizabeth, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
