Basketball Game Preview: Libby Loggers vs. Whitefish Bulldogs

Libby hasn't had much luck against Whitefish recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Libby Loggers are taking a road trip to square off against the Whitefish Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Libby is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 12th straight game on Saturday. They were dealt a 54-24 loss at the hands of Polson. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Loggers have suffered against the Pirates since December 18, 2021.

Meanwhile, Whitefish was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 69-59 to Browning.

Whitefish's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Libby, their loss dropped their record down to 1-15.

Libby couldn't quite finish off Whitefish in their previous matchup back in January and fell 33-30. Can Libby avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
