Baseball Recap: Ridley Beats Marple Newtown for Their Third Straight Win

Ridley hadn't done well against Marple Newtown recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Raiders skirted past the Fightin' Tigers 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Raiders have posted against the Fightin' Tigers since April 24, 2017.

The team relied heavily on Bobby Doherty, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024.
