Volleyball Recap: Wayland Takes a Loss

If Wayland was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Union on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hudsonville Eagles on Saturday. The Wildcats have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Wayland now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Hudsonville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Coincidentally, Wayland and Hudsonville will both be playing Catholic Central the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Cougars at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 9:00 a.m.
