Basketball Recap: Mt. Gilead Takes a Loss

Mt. Gilead lost against Centerburg back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mt. Gilead Indians took a 59-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Centerburg Trojans. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mt. Gilead's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Centerburg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Gilead will venture away from home to face off against Loudonville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Loudonville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Centerburg, they will head out to challenge East Knox at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Centerburg is facing East Knox at the right time seeing as East Knox is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
