Volleyball Recap: Silverton Comes Up Short

Silverton's tournament run continued when they took on Crater on Saturday. The Foxes fell just short of the Comets by a score of 2-1.

Despite the loss, Silverton saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brielle Goode had 14 digs and five assists. Alex Hergenreter also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Silverton dropped their record down to 4-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Crater, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Looking ahead, Silverton will head out to take on South Albany at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crater, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Summit on the 27th.
