After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pleasure Ridge Park, Sacred Heart was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Trimble County Raiders 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Valkyries have posted since May 10, 2024.

Hadley Dierking was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Grace Knoerr was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Sacred Heart's record now sits at 8-11. As for Trimble County, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-8.

Looking ahead, Sacred Heart will look to defend their home field on Monday against Seneca at 4:30 p.m. As for Trimble County, they will head out to face off against Eminence at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
