Preview: Trinity Catholic vs. Westhill
On Saturday Westhill will take on Trinity Catholic at 1:30 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-53, which was the final score in Westhill's tilt against Greenwich last Saturday. Westhill were down by 0-46 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Trinity Catholic, and their match last Friday only extended their streak of losses to six. They took a serious blow against New Canaan, falling 7-49. Trinity Catholic were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 7-42.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the win. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
