Basketball Recap: Laconia Comes Up Short

Laconia lost against Coe-Brown Academy back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Laconia Sachems took a blow against the Coe-Brown Academy Bears, falling 68-39.

Laconia's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Coe-Brown Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Laconia will square off against Sanborn Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Sanborn Regional knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Laconia likes a good challenge. As for Coe-Brown Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Stark at 6:30 p.m. Coe-Brown Academy is facing Stark at the right time seeing as Stark is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
