Baseball Recap: Booker Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Booker's offense. They lost 16-0 to the Lemon Bay Manta Rays on Friday. The Tornadoes haven't had much luck with the Manta Rays recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Booker's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Lemon Bay, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Booker will welcome Southeast at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lemon Bay, they will be playing at home against DeSoto County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
