Basketball Recap: Bishop Rosecrans Takes Down River in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bishop Rosecrans had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They blew past the River Pilots 60-37. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Bishops have posted since December 30, 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bishop Rosecrans to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kohen Harris, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 14 points along with six rebounds and five steals. That's the most points Harris has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Boothe, who went 7-for-17 en route to 23 points.

Bishop Rosecrans has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. River's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-16.

Looking ahead, Bishop Rosecrans will head out to face off against Catholic Central at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Catholic Central will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Bishop Rosecrans surely won't give up without a fight. River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
