Volleyball Recap: Jackson Has No Trouble Against Glenoak

Jackson won the last time they faced GlenOak and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Polar Bears blew past the Golden Eagles 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Jackson took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11, 25-14.

Despite the loss, GlenOak saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Mya Smith had 11 digs. Smith is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last six games she's played dating back to last season.

Jackson now has a winning record of 2-1. As for GlenOak, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Jackson is set to challenge their familiar foe Perry at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, GlenOak will face off against rival Lake at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
