Football Recap: Otis' Undefeated Season over After Seven Games + How To Watch

After flying high against Briggsdale last Friday, Otis came back down to earth. The Bulldogs took a 22-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stratton Eagles on Friday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Although Otis took the loss, they still got scores from Mitchell Stivers and Cambric Klinzmann.

Stratton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Drew Fox, who rushed for 118 yards and one touchdown. The Eagles are undefeated when Fox posts 100 or more rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Judson Isenbart, who gained 98 total yards and a touchdown.

Having lost for the first time this season, Otis fell to 6-1. As for Stratton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Otis will square off against Idalia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Wolves have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Stratton, they will challenge Eads at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Stratton will be up against Eads' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.38 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
