After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Menlo-Atherton, Hillsdale was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Half Moon Bay Cougars 3-0. The victory was some much needed relief for the Fighting Knights as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Hillsdale was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19, 25-15.

Eliza Bell paced Hillsdale's offense, picking up 12 kills. Bell got some help from Kealani Alvarez and her 18 assists. Kaylani Kirby controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Hillsdale's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Half Moon Bay, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hillsdale will face off against rival Carlmont at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Half Moon Bay is set to square off against their familiar foe Woodside at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
