Flinthills took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Sedan Devils as Flinthills made off with a 17-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Devils: they've now won five in a row.

Joliene Dragoo made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single hit and allowed only one earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Flinthills got a massive performance out of Paige Corter, who scored three runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
