Football Recap: South Cardinals vs. North Blue Devils
South fell victim to North and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 22-0 to the North Blue Devils. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
A big part of North's victory came down to the chemistry between Marion Wilson and his top target Collins Jacobs. Wilson rushed for 45 yards and a touchdown while Jacobs picked up 70 receiving yards and a touchdown.
South's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for North, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
South is taking a road trip to take on Milwaukee Madison on Thursday. As for North, they will be defending their home-field for the first time this season they go up against Barack Obama Career & Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
