It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact West Park can now relate to. They came up short against the Yuba City Honkers on Monday, falling 13-1. The Panthers' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

West Park saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Christopher Fisher, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

West Park's loss dropped their record down to 24-7. As for Yuba City, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 26-5.

While West Park had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
