Soccer Preview: McIntosh vs. Dutchtown
McIntosh is 5-0 against Dutchtown since April of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The McIntosh Chiefs will be playing at home against the Dutchtown Bulldogs at 8:00 p.m. McIntosh will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line.
McIntosh stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They put the hurt on Trinity Christian with a sharp 7-2 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 3-0.
Meanwhile, Dutchtown sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Social Circle on Thursday. The win was just what Dutchtown needed coming off of a 6-3 defeat in their prior contest.
They hit Social Circle with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Jorge Labarra,
Kasaun Simpson, and
Sebastian Fernandez.
McIntosh pushed their record up to 18-0 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Dutchtown, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-8.
