Carrollton extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 13-7 in the process. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Lexington Minutemen. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

As for Lexington, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-19 record this season. As for they, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-19.

For Lexington's part, Miguel Gonzalez was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with four stolen bases and one run. Gonzalez has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times he's played.
