Football Recap: Randolph Cardinals vs. Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers
Randolph was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers 74-38. One positive for the Cardinals, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
Bancroft-Rosalie got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Graysen Briggs out in front who rushed for 105 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. Nick Buchholz was another key player, rushing for 63 yards and two touchdowns.
Randolph's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Bancroft-Rosalie, the victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Randolph will head out to square off against Lyons-Decatur Northeast at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bancroft-Rosalie, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Winside at 7:00 p.m.
