Basketball Recap: Valley Torah Wolfpack vs. Aveson Global Leadership Academy Avengers
On Thursday, the Valley Torah Wolfpack were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 54-50 to the Aveson Global Leadership Academy Avengers. The Wolfpack have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Aveson Global Leadership Academy had a senior duo take command as Charvel White went 6 of 11 en route to 16 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists and Sahar Fiiller went 7 for 13 on his way to 17 points in addition to six assists and five boards. White has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Cruz Aten, who posted eight points.
Valley Torah's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Aveson Global Leadership Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-7.
