Baseball Recap: Davis County Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Davis County's offense. They fell 5-0 to the Chariton Chargers on Monday. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Chargers recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Davis County's loss dropped their record down to 10-15-1. As for Chariton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 21-5.

Coming up, Davis County is taking a road trip to face off against Van Buren County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Chariton, they have already played their next match, an 8-6 victory against Albia on the 1st.
