Baseball Recap: Sandpoint Comes Up Short

Sandpoint and Lewiston squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Sandpoint had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bengals by a score of 5-4. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Mason Little made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Andrew Lehman, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Sandpoint now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Lewiston, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-13.

As of now, neither Sandpoint nor the Bengals have any future games scheduled.
