Hale Ray came tearing into Friday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Coventry/Windham RVT/Bolton/Lyman Memorial Patriots. Considering the Noises have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Lily Jahne spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on six hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 12 consecutive appearances.
