Basketball Preview: West Panthers vs. Skyline Eagles
West is 0-8 against Skyline since January of 2018 but things could change on Wednesday. The West Panthers will square off against the Skyline Eagles at 7:00 p.m. West is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.7 points per game this season.
Last Friday, West ended up a good deal behind Highland and lost 62-45. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Rams are ranked eighth).

Elijah Albertson put forth a good effort for the losing side as he went 5-for-10 en route to 15 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. DC Auksitino was another key player, putting up 13 points.
Meanwhile, Skyline came up short against Olympus on Thursday and fell 56-48. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
This is the second loss in a row for West and nudges their season record down to 7-16. As for Skyline, their loss dropped their record down to 12-11.
West came up short against Skyline when the teams last played last Friday, falling 71-64. Can West avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
