Baseball Recap: Broadmoor Takes a Loss

After soaring to 15 runs the game before, Broadmoor was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They lost 20-1 to the Family Christian Flames. The Buccaneers have struggled against the Flames recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meetings.

Broadmoor saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was B Porter, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1. Porter has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Broadmoor's loss dropped their record down to 2-9-1. As for Family Christian, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6.

Looking ahead, Broadmoor will venture away from home to face off against Brusly at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Family Christian, they will welcome False River at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
