Football Recap: Lebanon Takes a Loss

Lebanon played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 28-6 to the Conrad Weiser Scouts. While losing is never fun, the Cedars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 506th, while the Scouts are ranked 198th).

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Brayden Sweitzer and Javien Rivera. Sweitzer rushed for 75 yards and a pair of TDs while Rivera rushed for 99 yards and two touchdowns. Sweitzer didn't just play on offense: he also made three total tackles and defended one pass.

Lebanon's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Conrad Weiser, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Lebanon and Conrad Weiser will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Cedars are set to take on their familiar foe Muhlenberg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Conrad Weiser will face off against rival Fleetwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
