Volleyball Recap: Stratford Takes a Loss

Stratford's tournament run continued when they took on St. Croix Falls on Saturday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saints.

Emily Zuelke paced Stratford's offense, picking up six kills. Zuelke got some help from Dakota Knetter and her seven assists. Tria Tubbs controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Stratford has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-8 record this season. As for St. Croix Falls, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season.

Stratford didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Hudson on the 4th. As for St. Croix Falls, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Osceola on the 4th.
