South Lyon East had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Stevenson Spartans by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16.

South Lyon East's win bumped their record up to 4-1.

South Lyon East will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Walled Lake Northern at 6:30 p.m. on September 4. As for Stevenson, they will venture away from home to square off against St. Catherine of Siena Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
