             Akron is 4-0 against Simla since September of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Saturday. The Akron Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Simla Cubs  at 1:00  p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Akron is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Saturday. They blew past Sedgwick County 28-6. The  victory was nothing new for the Rams as they're now sitting on five straight.
 It was another big night for  Anderson Filla, who rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns. Akron also got a significant boost from  Jace Curtis, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 87 yards.
 Akron was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 224  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 224  rushing yards in five consecutive  matchups.
 Meanwhile, Simla faced McClave in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Simla blew past McClave 48-8. With the Cubs ahead  42-0 at the half, the  match was all but over already.
 Simla had a senior duo take command as  Caston Cox threw for 217 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes and  Tj Eurich gained 151 total yards and three touchdowns. Cox has been hot recently, having  posted four or more  passing touchdowns the last three times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Tatum Kocerha, who picked up 66 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 Simla has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record  this season. Those victories were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.5 points per game. As for Akron, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.
 Saturday's   game might be decided in the on the ground. Akron has been unstoppable on the ground this season,  having  averaged 286.3  rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Simla struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 210.5. It's looking like  Saturday's  matchup might have some serious battles in the trenches.
