Football Recap: Kane Skates Past Otto-Eldred/Oswayo Valley with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kane). They blew past Otto-Eldred/Oswayo Valley, posting a 56-24 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Kane was led to victory by Evan Anderson and Eric Novosel. Anderson gained 169 total yards and three touchdowns, while Novosel threw for 128 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes. What's more, Novosel racked up 153.3 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024.

Kane was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 284 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Otto-Eldred/Oswayo Valley only rushed for 107 rushing yards.

Although Otto-Eldred/Oswayo Valley took the loss, they still got scores from Wyatt Blendinger, Tein Caldwell, and Ryan Schenfield.

Kane's record now sits at 4-1. As for Otto-Eldred/Oswayo Valley, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Kane will venture away from home to face off against Smethport at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Otto-Eldred/Oswayo Valley, they will host Bucktail at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Otto-Eldred/Oswayo Valley will be up against the Bucks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 46.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
