Recap: Seneca vs. Daniel
After flying high against Pendleton last Thursday, Seneca came back down to earth. The Seneca Bobcats fell victim to a rough 5-2 loss at the hands of the Daniel Lions on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Seneca of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.
Seneca's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Daniel, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.
Seneca will be playing in front of their home fans against Walhalla at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Walhalla is strutting in with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season. As for Daniel, they will head out on the road to take on Christ Church Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Daniel knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with flashy goal totals in its past five contests -- so hopefully Christ Church Episcopal likes a good challenge.
