Basketball Recap: Douglas Skates Past Carson with Ease

Douglas won the last time they faced Carson and things went their way on Monday too. The Douglas Tigers breezed by the Carson Senators to the tune of 51-20. The Tigers pushed the score to 49-17 by the end of the third, a deficit the Senators cut but never quite recovered from.

Douglas' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Caden Thacker, who posted 11 points. Jesse Messick was another key player, putting up ten points.

Douglas is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record this season. As for Carson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing McQueen the next time they take the court. Douglas will host McQueen at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Carson will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
