Softball Recap: Waseca Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Waseca's offense. They fell 4-0 to the Maple River Eagles on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Bluejays' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Waseca's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-11-1. As for Maple River, they moved to 13-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Waseca didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-5 loss against Waterville-Elysian-Morristown on the 17th. Maple River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
