Basketball Recap: Bethel Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Bethel Christian Academy lost against Veritas Christian Academy back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bethel Christian Academy Crusaders took a blow against the Veritas Christian Academy Warriors, falling 49-16. The Crusaders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-7.

Brooke Miller continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Veritas Christian Academy, going 11 of 15 on her way to 25 points and six steals. Miller is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 20 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaitlyn Miller, who posted two points along with eight boards, eight steals, and seven assists.

Bethel Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Veritas Christian Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Bethel Christian Academy has already played their next matchup (against Millers Creek Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Veritas Christian Academy will head out to square off against Community Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
