Basketball Recap: Colfax Comes Up Short

Colfax lost against Spring Valley back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Colfax Vikings might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Spring Valley Cardinals an easy 69-48 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Vikings have suffered against the Cardinals since February 15, 2022.

Colfax's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Spring Valley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colfax will venture away from home to face off against Elk Mound at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Spring Valley, they will head out on the road to take on Mondovi at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
