Baseball Recap: Todd County Central Gets the Win

The Todd County Central Rebels had just enough and edged out the Crittenden County Rockets 3-1 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rebels.

Noah Rager spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up six Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Todd County Central's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Devin Schutt, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Todd County Central's record is now 5-3. As for Crittenden County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Todd County Central will head out to square off against Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Crittenden County, they will take on Non Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
