Softball Game Preview: Glendale Dynamiters vs. Workman Lobos

The Glendale Dynamiters will take on the Workman Lobos at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Glendale is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over Indian Springs. The win was familiar territory for the Dynamiters, who have now won four contests in a row.

Carla Bedolla made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2025.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brooke Aldrete, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Rachel Francis, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one run.

Meanwhile, Workman made easy work of Valley Christian Academy on Thursday and carried off a 17-3 victory.

Workman now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Glendale, their record now sits at 15-11.
