Baseball Recap: Foresthill Comes Up Short

On Wednesday, the Foresthill Wildfires didn't have quite enough to beat the Grant Pacers and fell 12-10. The Wildfires have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

David Silveira was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing Four bases. while going 2-for-4. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played dating back to last season. Bryce Dowling also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Foresthill's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Grant, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Foresthill will host Delta at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Grant, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Foothill at 4:30 p.m. Grant will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
