Softball Recap: Westfield Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Forestville Central, Westfield was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 9-6 win over the Frewsburg Bears. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Eva Gnadzinski was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed five innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits. Gnadzinski was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

In other batting news, Sydney Hotchkiss was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Reagan Weingart, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

The victory got Westfield back to even at 3-3. As for Frewsburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
