Recap: Pewitt Brahmas vs. Maud Cardinals
The Pewitt Brahmas were the 57-36 winner over the Maud Cardinals when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Pewitt fell just short of Maud by a score of 40-38.
Maud got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brooklyn Osborne out in front who scored 10 points. Another player making a difference was Bayla White, who scored 9 points.
Pewitt's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-10. As for Maud, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.
Pewitt will head out on the road to face off against Hooks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hooks presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Pewitt in Texas (Hooks is ranked 141st, while Pewitt is ranked 1338th). As for Maud, they will be playing at home against Marshall Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
