Basketball Recap: Tuscola Snags Seventh Victory in Last Nine Games

Tuscola won the last time they faced Brevard, and Nora Jenkins did her part to make sure it happened again. The Tuscola Mountaineers blew past the Brevard Blue Devils 63-35 on Thursday thanks in part to Jenkins, who posted 23 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. What's more, she also racked up three assists, the most she's had since back in February of 2024.

Tuscola is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Brevard, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Tuscola didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-41 loss against Franklin on the 24th. Brevard has also already played their next match, a 66-36 defeat against East Rutherford on the 24th.
