Mountain View hadn't done well against Cedar Valley recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Bruins had just enough and edged out the Aviators 8-7. That's two games straight that the Bruins have won by just one run.

The win made it two in a row for Mountain View and bumps their season record up to 15-18. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Cedar Valley, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-20.
