Bellingham came tearing into Friday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Westwood Wolverines by a score of 3-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Bellingham had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-19.

Mia Milani paced Bellingham's offense, picking up 15 kills. Milani got some help from Alyssa Rancourt and her 16 assists. Milani also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Sophia Soto, each putting up four.

Bellingham's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Westwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
