Meanwhile, Mountain View posted their closest win since December 15, 2023 on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lake Oswego, sneaking past 42-39. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Mountain View pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.9 points per game. As for Sheldon, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
