Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Field Kindley). Everything went their way against the Independence Bulldogs on Friday as the Field Kindley Golden Tornado made off with a 64-38 victory. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Golden Tornado with their most commanding win of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Field Kindley and bumps their season record up to 7-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points over those games. As for Independence, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-10-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Field Kindley will face off against Parsons on Tuesday. As for Independence, they will square off against St. Mary's-Colgan at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (St. Mary's-Colgan has six straight victories, Independence has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
