After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Oceanside Collegiate Academy, Bishop England was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Fort Dorchester Patriots an 8-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Sophia Demarco as she scored three goals for her team.
Bishop England's win bumped their record up to 6-4-2. As for Fort Dorchester, they dropped their record down to 3-5 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop England will square off against Waccamaw at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
