There's no place like home for Glenwood Springs, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They blew past the Summit Tigers 65-35 on Thursday. The Demons haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Among those leading the charge was Jamison Godfread, who went 7-for-9 en route to 15 points and seven rebounds. Glenwood Springs is 4-1 when Godfread posts 15 or more points, but 8-10 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Benjamin Swanson, who posted nine points.

Glenwood Springs was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Summit only six assists.

Eduardo Gutierrez and Lucas Comcowich certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Gutierrez had 19 points and seven boards, while Comcowich scored seven points. That was a full 54.3% of Summit's points, marking the fourth time in a row Gutierrez has earned more than a third of the team's points.

Glenwood Springs now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Summit, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-18.

Looking ahead, Glenwood Springs will face off against Pueblo Central on Tuesday. Glenwood Springs knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Pueblo Central likes a good challenge. Summit does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
