Football Recap: Pine Prairie Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Pine Prairie extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 17 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-10. They took a blow against the Mamou Demons, falling 58-0. The Panthers lost against the Demons in their previous head to head back in November of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 36-6 score last time.

As for Mamou, they moved to 4-6 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. The game marked their most dominant victory of the season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mamou to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ashton Johnson, who rushed for 112 yards and one TD, and also caught one touchdown. Those 112 rushing yards gave Johnson a new career-high. Keontez Campbell was another key back, rushing for 69 yards and a pair of scores.

As of now, neither Pine Prairie nor Mamou have any future games scheduled.
