Baseball Recap: High Point Central Takes a Loss

High Point Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 21-4 to the Northeast Guilford Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 last Tuesday.

High Point Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Northeast Guilford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

High Point Central has already played their next contest, a 14-1 loss against Southern Guilford on the 25th. As for Northeast Guilford, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-0 victory against Ben L. Smith on the 25th.
